The Bierkeller is a multi-site hospitality brand with locations in Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham and Grantham. We’re famous for our long benches, two-pint steins and Bavarian bierhaus buzz!
The Bierkeller venues (Birmingham, Nottingham and Liverpool) are our larger venues, consisting of The Bierkeller Lodge, a space for cocktails, food and live music, Shooters Rack ’n’ Roll, our American-themed sports and games bar, and the heart of our venues, The Bierkeller Hall.
Last year, we launched “Klubhaus by The Bierkeller” - a new type of venue, offering the different elements of a larger Bierkeller venue in a smaller space. We opened our first Klubhaus in Grantham last year and our second site in Saltaire followed a few months after. We might be opening another one before the year is out - but that’s our secret for now!
Our venues are incredibly versatile and can adapt to almost any event or occasion - we’ve held conferences and corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, comedy nights, live music, fashion shows, bingo, networking, games tournaments, podcast live recording, talent show auditions, Sky Sports broadcasts - the list goes on and on!

Responsibilities

YOUR NEW ROLE

We’re looking for a part-time Sales & Events Co-Ordinator to join our Nottingham and Grantham team. You will be working alongside our Sales & Events Manager, assisting in outbound sales, student liaison and event management within both these venues, working closely with our centralised marketing team and the on-site operations team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Sales & Events Manager in the selling of our Nottingham site, focusing mainly on student liaison but also assisting with Corporate sales and networking.
  • Attend networking, trade exhibitions and conferences with our S&E Manager to help expand our network and drive sales.
  • Use LinkedIn to network and develop partnerships.
  • Use our Collins/DMN system
  • Co-ordinate and attend major events and bookings alongside the S&E Manager as a point of contact for clients and event organisers.
  • Assist in managing the sites Social Media activity to increase engagement and grow following
  • Share ideas and collaborate with Sales & Events Managers/ Co-Ordinators from our other sites and our centralised marketing team
  • Manage partner relationships including external promoters and student societies
  • Additional tasks appropriate to the role as requested by site or sales management.
