HOW YOU DO IT

  • You’re taking the lead in seeking new business regarding our hotel’s brilliant private hire offerings for social events for all F&B outlets and Gallery.
  • You’re in charge of the whole communication process, creating a stellar reputation for our hotel, promoting it with key messages aimed at building loyalty and interaction, all with the goal of increasing our revenue.
  • You’ll manage the client journey, from enquiry through to the big day, covering everything from site visits to menu tastings.
  • You’ll work closely with our Operations and Kitchen teams to make sure the whole event runs smoothly.
  • You’ll be responding to all M&E enquiries, getting back to prospective clients quickly and efficiently, and converting them into confirmed bookings.
  • You’ll generate quotes based on the guidelines provided by our Revenue & Pricing Manager, M&E cluster manager and F&B manager sending them out to potential clients.
  • You’ll issue contracts and deposit requests for confirmed business.
  • You’ll use your negotiating skills, strong judgement and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts, as well as upsell where possible, to make sure we’re achieving our M&E targets and staying within our budgets.
  • You’ll work collaboratively with our M&E and F&B operations and kitchen teams to make sure event delivery is smooth. You’ll producing clear and accurate BEOs, attending weekly BEO meetings and handing over to the team in charge on the day. You’ll also stay for the first couple of hours of large scale events of the event if needed.
  • You have full ownership of BEOs for your events, making sure accurate information is communicated efficiently and at the right time.
  • You’ll support our M&E Sales and Planning Manager with reporting and ad hoc projects when required.
  • You will support or marketing team with actions and support where needed for F&B outlets and Gallery events
  • You’ll be responsible for any required collateral and menus in consultation with brand templates to ensure all stages of the client journey before, during and after the event look & sound the best in line with the brand and competition.
  • In consultation with Marketing, you are responsible for helping to ensure 3rd party listings for our event spaces look & sound the best online and remain always up to date with the latest content and promotions.
