Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As Sales Events Manager, you will lead both the proactive and reactive sales efforts across weddings, corporate functions, private events, and group bookings at The Coniston. You will be responsible for implementing strategic sales plans, managing the events pipeline, and ensuring smooth coordination and handover to operational teams. This hands-on leadership role involves directly managing the team’s performance and driving event-related revenue across the estate.
You’ll act as the link between clients and internal departments, ensuring exceptional service and commercially successful outcomes. You will also support and develop the events sales team to consistently meet performance expectations and contribute to the overall business growth.
Reporting to: Head Of Sales
Responsible for: Sales Supervisors

COMMERCIAL AND FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Monitor sales activity against commercial goals and adapt approach where needed to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue and Insights Manager on reporting, pricing, forecasting, and billing accuracy.
  • Provide regular insights to the Head of Sales on sales trends, gaps, and future opportunities.
