ACE Sameday Couriers are one of the largest independent courier companies in the East Midlands, and we are currently looking for a Sales Executive to join our team based in Castle Donington.
We work with a strong customer base from small businesses to Blue Chip organizations. We operate a large fleet of vehicles ranging from Caddy vans to 18t trucks on contract and ad-hoc work. We offer a high quality nationwide, sameday direct delivery, courier service to clients in a broad range of business sectors.
We are looking for an experienced Sameday Courier Sales Executive to help us expand our business. We are a family owned and run company, and we like our employees to feel that they are a part of that. This role involves maintaining and building relationships with existing clients and building our customer base further.

ABOUT YOU:

We’re looking for a confident individual that has a dedicated work ethos, is strongly motivated and will strive to provide an excellent client experience while contributing to a one team ethos. We offer full training and induction to give you the best possible start.
· Able to demonstrate a warm and nurturing “telephone manner”.
· Proven experience of maintaining the highest levels of customer engagement with the ability to win new business.
· Results and target driven.
· A proven track record of face-to-face sales and relevant experience in field sales.
· Excellent time keeping and communication skills.
· Flexible and able to work under pressure.
· IT literate
· Experience using a wide range of communications channels to approach customers.
· Be able to demonstrate perseverance and self-motivation to own the sales process from beginning to end.
· You must enjoy building sustainable relationships to strengthen our reputation and trust levels in the business community.
· Must hold a full driving licence with access to a modern reliable car for business use.
On offer is a salary of £30000 per annum with OTE of up to £50000. Hours of work (office and field based) are Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00. You must be able to reliably commute to Castle Donington.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to identify potential opportunities and develop existing customers in our service area. You will generate your own leads and work with full support from our experienced Operations Team. You will be part of a focussed and driven organisation, geared to help you achieve your targets as well as:
· Achieve monthly new business and revenue targets.
· Strategically breakdown the region, turning prospects and leads into sales
· Arrange face-to-face meetings with key decision makers via cold calling both on the road and on the phone
· Sell the company’s services to new and existing clients
