Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive with experience in the gas and chemical industry, or another technical B2B sector. You will focus on generating new business, building strong relationships, and developing long-term partnerships that support our growth. You’ll work closely with the Commercial Director, identifying opportunities, engaging with decision-makers, and introducing our product portfolio. Success will come from proactive prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals that deliver long-term value. In return for your hard work you will be part of the sales team’s bonus structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report directly to the Commercial Director and support sales strategy execution
  • Prospect and onboard new clients, ensuring smooth handover into ongoing relationships
  • Manage and nurture a sales pipeline with consistent follow-up
  • Understand customer needs and market trends to position products effectively
  • Negotiate and close deals that balance growth and profitability
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions
  • Conduct regular client site visits to strengthen relationships
  • Participate in a shared rota to provide limited out-of-hours client support
