A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Luxury 5* Corporate Hotel brand, Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel in Canary Wharf, East London.
We are currently recruiting a Proactive and Driven Sales Executiveto be the Supporting, Driven, Ultimate Pillar of Strength to the Head of Sales and Marketing based in the Sales and Marketing Department.
Set within the historic wharfs and quays of East London, Canary Riverside Plaza is the only five-star independent hotel in Canary Wharf. The 142 spacious guest rooms and suites make for an incredibly comfortable stay, be it for business or leisure, offering stunning views of the River Thames and city beyond. Quadrato Restaurant and Lounge offers Italian inspired menus with flavours that are light, fresh and quintessentially Italian. The incredible view of the River Thames and London skyline are best enjoyed from the elegant terrace or on colder days, the soaring windows of the restaurant. The adjacent Quadrato Bar & Lounge offers an array of signature cocktails, wine, beer and spirits and is the perfect place for pre-dinner drinks or a night cap.

KEY QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FROM THE SALES EXECUTIVE:

As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for proactively driving sales revenue by actively seeking and cultivating relationships with potential clients, promoting the Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel’s Services and Facilities, and managing existing accounts to achieve sales targets, with a primary focus on delivering a luxury experience and building client loyalty within the high-end hospitality market. This often involves managing relationships with Corporate Business Clients and Key Partners to secure group bookings and maximize revenue streams across different segments like leisure and business travel.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

· Excellent Communication Skills – listening, written and oral.
· At least 3 years full Experience in working as a proactive Sales Executive in an established 5* Luxury Hotel establishment.
· Understand the importance of Impeccable Hotel Guest Service and how to deliver it.
· Impeccable Attention to Detail.
· Analytical Skills.
· Excellent Organisational Skills
· Strong Administration Skills with excellent Diary Management Skills.
· Ability to remain calm under pressure.
·Ability to multi task.
·Incredibly proactive, likes to be creative and has autonomy in self-discipline, with a passion for sales and hunting for business.
·Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
·Positive and can-do attitude along with flexibility on working hours.

Responsibilities

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE WOULD INCLUDE:

  • Lead Generation:

Identifying and contacting potential clients through networking, cold calling, and market research to generate new sales leads.

  • Relationship Building:

Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at travel agencies, corporate clients, and event planners.

  • Sales Presentations:

Presenting the Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel unique selling points and packages to prospective clients, tailoring presentations to their specific needs.

  • Account Management:

Managing existing client accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, and proactively identifying opportunities to increase their spending.

  • Contract Negotiation:

Negotiating contracts and rates with clients while ensuring profitability for the hotel.

  • Revenue Forecasting:

Accurately forecasting sales revenue based on market trends and client activity.

  • Sales Reporting:

Regularly reporting on sales performance, including key metrics like conversion rates and revenue generated.

  • Market Analysis:

Staying updated on market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
