THE ROLE

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Media Sales Executive to join our fast-paced publishing and events business. This is a front-line sales role focused on canvassing for new business, generating qualified leads, and building a strong sales pipeline to support senior sales professionals in achieving commercial growth targets.
Working across our portfolio of international publications, digital platforms, and events, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and nurturing relationships that convert into long-term clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively canvass for new business opportunities across targeted sectors.
  • Research, identify, and qualify potential leads to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Make outbound calls, send prospecting emails, and use LinkedIn/social channels to reach decision-makers.
  • Secure introductory calls/meetings for senior sales colleagues with qualified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, prospects, and pipeline using CRM systems.
  • Support senior sales professionals with proposals, presentations, and client follow-up.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly activity and lead-generation targets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
