Description:

Sales Executive
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Employer: Charles & Ivy (garden fencing and decorative screens business)
Salary: Up to £24k plus bonus scheme (Up to £35k OTE)
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Annual leave: 19 days standard, plus bank holidays and an additional day of annual leave for your birthday

Introduction

Following the highly successful launch of the new product range, the business has a requirement for an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our expanding team.
Chares & Ivy has bespoke, innovative fencing and screening products made in the Far East, and are sold via their market leading e-Commerce website: www.charlesandivy.co.uk
This role is perfect for an individual who has a passion for success and customer satisfaction.
The Role / Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
· Closing bespoke orders
· Calculating product measurements to suit the clients needs and pricing the tailored order based on materials used
· Offering design and product advise with the ability to move the sales process forward
· Working closely with other departments to ensure correct information is given to all clients
· Maintaining an excellent up-to-date knowledge of all products therefore satisfying and exceeding customers expectation
· Allocating time when needed to use outbound tools to maximise personal and team sales
· Assisting and leading in face to face showroom visits with clients
· Able to create and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients during on-going projects
· Contributing to a positive team performance and achieving set personal KPI’s
Requirements
You will have:
· Previous proven field sales experience, external selling skills are preferred but not necessary
· The ability to work at pace and maximise your daily outputs
· Exceptional sales and customer relationship building skills at all levels
· Strong negotiation and facilitation experience with problem solving abilities
· The ability to identify and understand business opportunities
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Able to work independently as well as part of a team, offering help and support to others
· Ability to take initiative and ownership of issues, with a can-do attitude
· Ability to prioritise
· Strong interpersonal skills, in both verbal and written communication
· Numerical aptitude
· Full UK driving license is required
