SALES EXECUTIVE / CLIENT ACCOUNT MANAGER

Location: Par, Cornwall (Office-based with travel)
Salary: £40,000 OTE (Basic: £26,500–£28,000) + Benefits
Type: Full-time, Permanent
A successful and growing design, manufacturing, and retail company based in Par, Cornwall is seeking a Sales Executive / Client Account Manager to manage existing customer relationships while driving new business development.
The company designs, manufactures, and supplies high-quality lighting products to both retail and wholesale markets across the UK. This is a great opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys a mix of office-based work and client-facing visits.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in sales or account management
  • Background in lighting or electrical products is advantageous but not essential (full training provided)
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to manage deadlines and sales targets under pressure
  • Willingness to travel and communicate with clients outside regular office hours when required
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and following up on appointments and calls
  • Eager to learn and complete internal product and skills training
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing clients
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across multiple sectors
  • Sell to wholesalers, interior designers, retailers, and commercial clients
  • Maintain regular client contact, upsell where possible, and ensure smooth order processing
  • Use CRM systems for communication tracking and appointment management
  • Attend client site visits as required – flexibility is essential, with visits ranging from monthly to several times per week
