JOB TITLE: SALES EXECUTIVE – SMALL INDEPENDENT CAR DEALERSHIP

Location: Gateshead
Salary: Basic + Commission
Hours: Full-time
We’re a small but growing independent car dealership looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves cars, enjoys building relationships with people, and wants to be part of a supportive, friendly environment where your efforts are recognised.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Welcoming customers to the dealership and providing a professional, friendly service.
  • Listening to customer needs and matching them to the right vehicle.
  • Taking customers through the full sales process, from enquiry to handover.
  • Handling finance applications and explaining products clearly.
  • Keeping the forecourt, showroom, and vehicles presented to a high standard.
  • Following up with customers to build long-term relationships and repeat business.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous sales experience (car sales preferred, but not essential).
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and great with people.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work on your own initiative.
  • Good IT skills and comfortable with online advertising platforms.
  • Full UK driving licence.
