Are you fluent in German, enjoy connecting with people, and looking for a flexible part-time or full-time role in Groningen? Recras, a leading SaaS platform for recreation companies, is looking for a motivated individual to help expand our client base by reaching out to potential customers in Germany.
What is Recras?
Recras is a SaaS management and reservation system for recreation companies, such as climbing parks, water-ski tracks and outdoor companies. Recras was created in 2012 through a collaboration with the recreation company Taribush from Drenthe. Over 300 companies now manage their operational processes (reservations, quotations, invoicing and personnel planning) with Recras. Every day, some 2,500 users work with our system and we process a total of 500,000 reservations per year. Recras consists of a small, relaxed, driven team of 9 people.
Why are we hiring you?
Last year Recras aimed to greatly improve our appearance on the German market and grow our member base. We decided to hire our first German colleague and together finished up the translation of our website and took on the translation of the documentation and instructions of the Recras system. A good amount of new members were gained and many more German contacts and positive relationships were established. With Recras being a proven product on the German market, now the time has come for us to find more motivated talent to continue our growth. And this is where you can make a real difference!

What You Will Do:

  • Generate your own leads and build a sales pipeline on the German market.
  • Make cold acquisition calls.
  • Delivering presentations to potential clients.
  • Build relationships with the clients and help them find solutions to their problems.
  • Contribute to our ongoing efforts as a team to develop the Recras-system.
  • Have the opportunity to develop your own project or improvement ideas, and make them happen.

We expect you to:

  • Be A fluent German Speaker: Essential for engaging with the German-speaking clients.
  • Live in or near Groningen: and be available for at least 16 or up to 40 hours a week for at least 6 months.
  • Enjoy conversations with clients: You stay motivated despite rejection and put your good communication skills in German and English to the test.
  • Be Proactive: You anticipate tasks and take initiative.
  • Be a Constructive Team Worker: You enjoy collaborating and contributing to our team and product.
  • Be Adaptable & Agile: You quickly learn new skills and knowledge.

You can get Bonus Points for:

  • Understanding some basic Dutch.
  • Previous experience in sales (not necessary)
  • Familiarity with a CRM system or the recreational branch in Germany.

  • A gross all-in salary of € 1314 per month (this includes 8% holiday pay and paid holidays, based on 16 hours per week).
