SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrated sales experience, preferably within the building products or home restoration industries.
  • Highly consultative with a proven ability to close deals and upsell.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Intermediate Excel and computer literacy; experience with CRMs is a plus
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE:

We’re on the hunt for a driven and customer-focused Sales Executive to join the passionate Cabot’s sales team. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of key accounts across a vast territory spanning from Cairns to Townsville and beyond. You’ll have the autonomy to execute strategic account plans, build strong client relationships, and deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs while achieving key business objectives.
This autonomous, on-the-road role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently and brings a high level of energy, trust, and communication. You’ll spend most of your time visiting customers, influencing buying decisions, identifying new business opportunities, and developing growth plans. Daily tasks include staff training, merchandising, managing sales budgets, and meeting KPIs—all with safety as a top priority. The role offers plenty of variety, challenge, and ongoing skill development, backed by the support of an experienced and collaborative team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
