JOB SUMMARY

An opportunity for a Sales Executive to join a long standing employer with over 45 years of trading.
Dyfed Steels supply steel products to our customers across the UK from our Head Office in South Wales and 9 regional branches. We are now seeking to employ an experienced Sales Executive to work from our Portishead depot to drive new business and maximise sales from existing accounts.
The successful candidate will be provided with the existing customer base to work and develop strong relationships with to ensure we are always their preferred supplier. They will also be expected to identify potential new business in the region and develop relationships with key personnel to promote our range of products, overcome any objections and generate new sales to grow the branch.
You will be an experienced sales executive, ideally with recent knowledge of selling into the construction industry. You must be highly motivated with the tenacity to succeed and to meet sales targets, with a genuine willingness to cold call to generate new business. You will be IT literate and familiar with CRM/ERP systems. You will be used to working in a target driven environment and used to achieving targets on a regular basis. You should have excellent interpersonal skills to develop long lasting working relationships and good rapport with customers.
