Description

We are expanding our sales team and looking for a driven full time Sales Executive - required to work alongside the Sales Director in assisting customers with their purchase of reconditioned Aga cookers.
We are a small, family-run business who are passionate about what we do. We have an outstanding reputation in the industry. We are selling a luxury product and our customers have a very high expectation of both the end product and our customer service.
Previous product knowledge is not required but this will develop over time as you progress in the role and gain a deeper understanding of the products and how they work. There is no formal training for this role, but rather on-the-job training. Experience of selling luxury products would be highly advantageous.
The candidate will be required to answer day-to-day telephone calls of a sales and after-sales nature as well as meeting customers in the showroom to discuss the options best suited to their requirements and to facilitate sales.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent customer service skills and a calm, friendly and approachable manner. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and take on responsibility. You must be trustworthy, reliable and be able to work autonomously as well as part of the team.

Other key attributes needed:

  • the ability to close a sale, seeing through the process from initial point of contact to finalisation of an order
  • to be thorough and pay attention to detail
  • excellent verbal communication skills both on the telephone and in person
  • the ability to use your initiative and work independently.
  • to be well presented and professional at all times

Daily tasks to include but not limited to;

  • sales and after sales telephone calls
  • answering website and all other enquiries as well as responding to customer enquiries via email
  • meeting clients/prospective customers in the showroom to discuss their requirements
  • completing and processing sales
  • following up sales leads in order to increase sales and profitability
  • administrative duties
  • liaising with the workshop manager and Operations Director to ensure orders are satisfied within a designated timeframe
  • to be able to make updates to the company website as and when necessary
