Amtrak logistics ltd is looking for new team members to join the Sales team and promote the growth and develop business by building strong customer relationship and expand our Market presence.
Candidate have proven experience in Sales in Logistics environment .An entrepreneurial mindset is what we are looking for, the ability to come on board, bring accounts and generate new business. This role requires a proactive approach to telemarketing and a keen understanding of our products and services

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The right candidate is responsible for prospecting and establishing new business relationships.
This includes actively calling to new customers.The right candidate should be able to cost, quote and operate their cargo .

Duties:

  • Cold calling, lead generation & customer appointments.
  • onboarding and setup new customer accounts
  • Maintain and develop your existing accounts
  • Process bookings from customer by phone/email
  • Handle the coordination of freight
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with customers and suppliers.
  • Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that expectations are met during the movement of cargo
  • Strategically breakdown the region, turning prospects and leads into sales
  • Arrange face-to-face meetings with key decision makers via cold calling
  • Utilise Salesforce to manage customer interactions, track sales progress, and report on performance metrics
  • Participate in team meetings to share insights, discuss challenges, and celebrate successes

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • .Good Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office .
  • Good Knowledge in General Haulage and Pallet Distribution
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Strong organisational skills, problem solving and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency when it comes to prospecting for new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude that is driven by a desire to help producers achieve their business goals.
  • Able to work in a team environment where everyone contributes to the success of the company or organisation.

    Pay: £25,800.00-£28,000.00 per year
