Description

The right candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth within the Traditional Trade sector, focusing on chocolates, biscuits, and other confectionery products. This role involves identifying potential clients, establishing strong relationships, and presenting products to meet their business needs. The executive will manage and expand the company’s corporate and retail sales, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and achieve revenue targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2–5 years of proven sales experience in Traditional Trade within the FMCG sector, preferably chocolates, biscuits, or confectionery.
  • UAE Driving License is mandatory.
  • Existing client database in traditional trade or FMCG distribution is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to travel within the UAE to meet customers.
  • Strong knowledge of market dynamics, competitor analysis, and sales trends in FMCG.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook; experience in CRM/ERP systems is an advantage.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills focused on sales.
  • Ability to understand client needs and propose suitable products.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Self-driven, motivated to grow in the FMCG/General Trading sector, with strong knowledge of the market and customer network.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Minimum 1 year of corporate/traditional trade sales experience in FMCG products such as chocolates, biscuits, or confectionery (B2B sales).
  • Experience in negotiating pricing, terms, and contract conditions, and closing sales deals.
  • Understanding of the confectionery distribution market and customer requirements.
  • Acquiring new clients through market research and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Visiting and meeting clients to present company products and promotions.
  • Coordinating with the supply/operations team to ensure timely order fulfilment and product customization if required.
  • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with potential and existing clients through regular visits and follow-ups.
  • Preparing sales reports and providing market intelligence on industry trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Preparing quotations and contracts for client acquisition.
  • Sending promotional materials and offers to corporate and retail customers regularly.
  • Keeping updated with market developments, new products, and distribution channels.
