POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are actively seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Sales Executive to join the dynamic team at GL Solutions. As a Sales Executive, you play a pivotal role in building trust and solving problems in complex business-to-business and business-to-government sales engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication skills and a personal drive to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology or a similar working experience in a related field
  • Sales Certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, Salesforce Certified, Google Certified, Microsoft Certified)
  • More than two years of sales experience in a sales role, ideally within the software or tech industry
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Background in building long-term client relationships, including experience with lead generation, account management and customer retention
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing deals, including the ability to handle objections and align product benefits with client needs
  • Ability to conduct presentations and product demos tailored to a prospect’s business needs
  • Skilled at managing high-value accounts
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong dedication to understanding client needs, creating value and fostering long-term relationships
  • Demonstratable success in achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Proven experience in government/business enterprise software sales and demonstration desired
    Earn a yearly gross compensation ranging from $63,000 to $95,000 DOE, plus incentive based on job performance, 20 days of PTO, a 6% 401(k) match and health insurance package.  View additional information about GL Solutions at: glsolutions.com.
Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new clients, discussing their problems and promoting solutions from the company’s products and services.
  • Execute a defined solution-selling process that begins with qualifying a prospect based on alignment between their needs and company products and services. The sales process includes organizing and delivering collateral and software demonstrations of many varieties to match customer requirements: online and onsite, large and small groups, formal and informal settings.
  • You work to understand and to help your prospect overcome their objections, and to navigate procurement processes.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.
