We are currently seeking a seasoned Sales Executive professional to join the Lifeline team, to drive our growth and build lasting relationships in existing and new territories.
Term: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: 50 Casmir Court, Concord, Ontario and frequent travel throughout GTA

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:

  • Outside Sales experience managing a territory, minimum of 1-3 years is required
  • Proven experience in outside B2B sales (3+ years), with a track record of exceeding quotas in a territory-based role
  • Experience working in the fire protection services industry is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, results-oriented, analytical thinker who can strategically map accounts, build pipelines and convert leads into loyal customers
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong relationship builder, communicator and negotiator, confident with both on-site and boardroom conversations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace and CRM systems
  • Proficiency in English is required
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle is required to travel to client sites

Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Director of Sales
  • Identify, prospect and secure new service contracts with consistent business development tactics
  • Build strong relationships with existing clients and uncover new revenue streams through upselling, renewals and referrals
  • Manage full sales cycle and new business, identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas and identify new client leads
  • Strategically prospecting your given territory - target key accounts within residential, commercial, industrial, and property management sectors; use tools like LinkedIn and networking to open doors
  • Create action plans on a quarterly basis to help achieve your quota
  • Responsible for meeting monthly prospect and outside sales call targets to ensure sales quotas are met
  • Remain in close contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and enable future business through referrals
  • Follow up on all outstanding quotes with clients in a timely manner
  • Attend tradeshows representing Lifeline Fire Protection
  • Use superb time management skills and effective communication with customers and coworkers
  • Work cross-functionally collaborating with internal teams (design, service, operations) to ensure smooth project delivery and a seamless client experience
  • Provide feedback to the Director of Sales on changing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct solicitation in their market areas
  • Maintain an ongoing, high level of knowledge of the competition’s offerings
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the completion of daily operational tasks
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve organization strategic goals
  • Communicate and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders promptly and professionally
  • Manage internal and external conflicts (i.e. including complaints and complications)
  • Provide support and assistance in the department onboarding process
  • Provide training and mentorship to other staff
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance of industry requirements and legislations
  • Maintain relevant knowledge of Lifeline services
  • Develop knowledge and skills through continuous development training and education
  • Complete required education and training material(s) as required
  • Attend all internal and external meetings as required
  • Attend on-site visits as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
