SUMMARY OF ROLE:

You must be a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive, as this role is crucial in driving business growth by expanding our apprenticeship and government-funded provision. As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and developing strong relationships with employers, encouraging them to invest in apprenticeships and other training solutions.
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through cold outreach, strategic networking, and field visits, as well as by leveraging and expanding existing employer relationships. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work collaboratively within a dynamic team to drive apprenticeship recruitment, secure employer partnerships, and contribute to the achievement of organisational sales targets.
As a key representative of Haddon Training Ltd, you will attend industry events, networking sessions, and promotional activities, ensuring our presence is felt across multiple sectors. If you have a passion for sales, a strong understanding of apprenticeships, and the ability to build and maintain lasting business relationships, we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities to promote Haddon Training’s apprenticeship programmes and commercial training solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales KPIs through strategic business development, employer engagement, and targeted outreach activities.
  • Develop and maintain a structured sales pipeline within the CRM system, ensuring a well-organised and up-to-date database of prospects and active employer contacts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with both Levy-paying organisations and SMEs, providing them with expert guidance on apprenticeships and workforce development solutions.
  • Advise employers on the Digital Apprenticeship Service and funding options, ensuring they have the support they need to maximise their investment in apprenticeships.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and sector-specific developments by working closely with internal subject matter experts, ensuring clients receive the most accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Represent Haddon Training at networking and promotional events, trade shows, and conferences, actively seeking opportunities to raise the company’s profile and secure new business partnerships. (Time in lieu will be provided for events outside of standard working hours.)
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales Manager, Business Development Director, and the wider Sales team to implement and execute the overall sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Support marketing campaigns and initiatives by providing insights from employer interactions, contributing to lead generation and targeted promotional efforts.
