Location:  Singapore Based    As a Sales Account Manager, this role is to maximize sales income from assigned territory and serve as the primary point of contact for customers’ purchasing and service needs.  You need to focus on cultivating strong relationships within a portfolio of high-opportunity accounts to understand their current and future needs, ultimately driving significant incremental sales.    Key Responsibilities:  Proactively visit target customers to uncover exciting new business opportunities, confidently perform upselling activities, and cultivate effective, long-term relationships within the assigned territory to achieve significant sales growth and solidify RS as the preferred supplier. Actively identify customer needs and collaborate with multi-functional teams to seamlessly integrate value-added services into their operations, while also working effectively across functions to boost customer satisfaction.  Keep timely customer records, CRM data, and sales reports updated to facilitate precise analysis of business trends and KPIs, while utilizing financial and customer data to ensure compliance with preferential terms and service level contracts, driving profitability and success.   How do you make a difference in this role You will make a difference by building effective relationships with customers to understand their needs, driving significant sales growth, and providing tailored solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your proactive approach and collaboration with internal teams ensure exceptional service and contribute to achieving sales targets and business objectives.   Requirements Over 3 years’ experience in Account Management or Strategic Business Development and proven track record in industrial field sales, preferably in Industry / MRO / Electronics. Demonstrates the ability to consistently exceed KPIs and deadlines while maintaining a proactive and positive approach in dynamic environments, taking ownership and initiative. Understanding of procurement strategies within a business environment and able to articulate value solutions to deliver a great customer experience. Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft packages.   Ideal candidate will be: A skilled negotiator and influencer with exceptional communication abilities. Strong interpersonal skills for fostering positive relationships. Results-oriented with a keen focus on profit margins and financial insights.
