Description

Independent Fire Inspections Ltd are recruiting for a Sales Executive role to work within the Training side of the business. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 year’s experience in telephone and face to face sales, account management and relationship development of existing and new clients.
This is an exciting and busy opportunity in a fast-growing arm of the business, selling online training and classroom training courses and qualifications in and around passive fire protection, with an on target earning of £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 per annum.

As a Sales Executive you will be expected to:

  • Build good working relationships.
  • Understand the needs of your business customers.
  • Research the market and related products.
  • Present our products favourably and in a structured professional way over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails.
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries.
  • Act as a contact between the company and its existing and potential markets.
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.
  • Provide customers with quotations and invoices.
  • Marketing.

For the role, you’ll be required to:

  • Be self-motivated and target driven.
  • Contact customers via telephone, email and in a face-to-face capacity.
  • Discuss our full range of training courses according to the clients’ requirements.
  • Look for new business opportunities.
  • Be integral to the development of targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Be confident in utilising different marketing options to drive new business sales.
  • Record sales and order information in line with company process.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and meetings.
  • Feed future buying trends back to Management.
  • Review, record and report on your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
  • Achieve quality and productivity parameters in line with company policy.
  • Confident using all aspects of Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and individually using own initiative.
  • Have strong presentation and negotiation skills.

Essential Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
Administration experience.
Competent using all Microsoft applications.
Driving License
Desirable Candidate Requirements:
Knowledge of the passive fire protection industry.
Experience of using Xero Accounting Software, or similar.
Prior experience of training course sales.
This is an office based role, working from our Head Office in Lincoln.
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
