Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to: State Manager Queensland
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Work Location: Brisbane
As a Sales Executive - Internal , you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and promoting CMA CGM Group’s services and value-added solutions.

THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Managing and growing a portfolio of existing customers to achieve sales targets.
Identifying and securing new business opportunities across import and export markets.
Promoting CMA CGM Group services and value-added solutions (e-commerce, intermodal, CEVA).
Conducting regular client calls and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.
Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and sales action plans.
Monitoring competitor activity and providing insights to the State Manager.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service delivery.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics, ideally in sales or customer service.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in negotiations.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
High level of organisation, attention to detail, and time management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team.
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.
