ITN Food Corporation, a leader in ethnic food production, import, and distribution, is seeking a dedicated Sales Executive to support our expansion in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario, Canada. This role offers an opportunity to engage with customers, develop business relationships, and represent high-quality South Asian products through a combination of fieldwork and teamwork.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Sales Executive, you will contribute to our revenue growth by acquiring new customers through market visits and strengthening our presence in the GTA. This full-time, permanent position involves direct sales, relationship management, and collaboration with a supportive team, making it ideal for someone eager to succeed in a dynamic environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: 3–5 years in direct sales or customer-facing roles, preferably with experience in South Asian or Middle Eastern markets; food industry background is an advantage.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Sales Performance: Demonstrated ability to meet revenue targets and secure new clients through effective sales techniques.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) is beneficial.
  • Communication: Strong skills in communication and negotiation, with an ability to connect with diverse clients; fluency in Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is an asset but not required.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to address challenges and adapt to a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend events or market visits.
Responsibilities
  • Sales: Present and sell our South Asian food products to retailers, restaurants, and food outlets during regular market visits, converting prospects into customers.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong client partnerships through in-person meetings and virtual follow-ups tailored to their needs.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities in the GTA, using insights to expand into promising markets.
  • Product Presentation: Demonstrate our products’ unique qualities, assisting customers in finding solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Customer Service: Address customer concerns, such as complaints or returns, promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with marketing and logistics teams to align sales efforts with company objectives, sharing field observations to inform strategies.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, providing valuable feedback to management.
  • Event Representation: Participate in trade shows and events to enhance ITN’s visibility and network with industry professionals.
