QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

  • Educated to GCSE level, incl. Maths & English (min. Grade 4, previously Grade C)
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
    Full UK driving license

EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable sales administration experience
  • Competent knowledge and use of client relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Dealing with customers
  • Experience in service and waste industry
  • Process improvement experience

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

To support the Sales and Operations team in managing existing customer base, identifying leads, and looking out for new opportunities. This is a key role in the company’s growth strategy, you will be identifying new business and liaising with existing customers and suppliers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handling all new customer enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to the customer and recorded onto Company system
  • Chasing repeat business opportunities with current customers, development of key account management process.
  • Maintaining accurate records within the Teams and CRM tools and generate reports, as required
  • Collating information for the preparation of sales quotations and accurate invoicing
  • Liaise with customers and arrange site visits for surveys
  • Raising quotes and ensuring these are logged on the CRM system in the correct manner along with email trails
  • Chasing customers following issuing of a quote to determine desire to proceed and/or answer any queries
  • Once a quote is confirmed to proceed, sending information to Accounts (Sales Ledger) to credit check and raise pro-forma invoice, if required
  • Move CRM quotes to invoice
  • Generating weekly/monthly sales reports for management
  • Obtaining customer feedback at regular intervals to determine service levels are being met by the business
  • Coordinating sales support information
  • Appointment setting with customers
  • Maintaining company information to required standard e.g., CRM system
  • Any other ad hoc admin tasks, as required to support business sales
