Description:
ABOUT US:
Ministry Venues is a B2B corporate events company offering full end to end event management. Currently operating within our two Central London venues, The Ministry and Ministry of Sound.
We have entrepreneurial creative spirit and we remain true to our ethos of disrupting the norm, keeping quality at the heart of everything we do, helping businesses to be bold and collaborative. We work with the world’s leading brands, creative businesses and event production companies to produce events across all our spaces.
Attention to detail and a focus on excellence ensures we are an award-winning team.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, your primary responsibility will be to serve as the initial point of contact for clients, driving inbound sales, qualifying leads and generating revenue.
You will excel at understanding and managing each client’s individual requirements and be adept in crafting personalised proposals using our creative and non-standard approach.
You will host site visits for potential clients, building relationships and business opportunities to secure new bookings, providing unrivalled service.
You will possess previous experience in event sales, particularly in an events venue, and demonstrate proficiency in completing a variety of routine administrative tasks with precision. This will be essential.
You will be updating the sales tracker, generating purchase quotations (PQs) and purchase orders (POs), creating client contracts and invoices, as well as actively following up on payments.
You are always up to date with industry trends, competitor activities and client’s preferences, identifying gaps and potential areas for improvement.
You will work closely with the events and operations teams to ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and executed seamlessly. You may also be required to support the Event Manager at some of our events.
Articulate communication skills and exceptional service are paramount for this role. Furthermore, your naturally positive disposition will motivate you to consistently go above and beyond the expected duties.
