TK Elevator Corporation — Miami, Florida, United StatesWhat we expectThe first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Sales Executive in Miami, FLResponsible for successfully bidding and securing new installation sales contracts while developing and maintaining strong relations with new and existing customers. This role is essential in ensuring new installation jobs are completed profitably while driving branch annual revenue goals.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSPre-bidding activity design and assist, presentations, learning and teaching workshops with design communityResponsible for territory lead generation while creating and maintaining market relationships to maintain a strong TKE presenceUnderstanding of TKE product lines with the ability to provide details to a design professional, architect, and property manager. Includes developing knowledge of local elevator code requirements.Develops capital plans for customers to address their short- and long-term building needs.Works in coordination with architects, general contractors, building managers and/or owners in the pre- bidding of new installation jobs.Creates quoting and bidding packages by obtaining project plans/specs of proposed new construction. Includes reviewing specs and labor with operations department for completeness and accuracyReview project schedules, existing conditions and consider specific site logistics.Presents bids to customers and explains cost factors, emphasizing characteristics such as construction, performance, durability, and appearance of equipment selling TKE value. Conducts customer follow-up on all proposals.Partner with operations team to negotiate the Scope of Work (SOW), as well as collaborate with contract administrator, sales support and legal as required.Upon customer’s acceptance, create and generate submittal packages through the approval process and creates change orders as requested.Visits project sites when necessary and works with operations department to ensure customers’ needs and deadlines are being met.Utilizes the Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool to update and manage sales pipeline. Assists in A/R collection efforts to ensure prompt payment from customers.Performs other duties as may be assigned.Who we are looking forEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of sales experience required; for candidates with 3 plus years of elevator sales experience, bachelor’s degree is preferred.Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint/drawings preferred.Experience selling Service/Repair, Construction, and Modernization in elevator strongly preferred.Additional informationTK Elevator is an equal opportunity employer and committed to diversity.
