REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics, with a focus on feeder operations.
  • Proven track record in negotiating with ocean carriers and securing cargo contracts.
  • Strong networking skills with an established network in South East Asia’s shipping industry.
  • Self-motivated, diligent, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Degree/ Diploma in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Existing relationships with carriers and clients in South East Asia.

Responsibilities
  1. Cargo Acquisition & Yield Optimization
  2. Proactively secure profitable, high-yield cargo to fill feeder vessel space.
  3. Develop strategies to maximize space utilization and revenue generation.
  4. Stakeholder Relationship Management
  5. Build and maintain relationships with ocean carriers, freight forwarders and shippers.
  6. Negotiate competitive freight rates and service agreements.
  7. Market Intelligence & Feedback
  8. Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
  9. Provide regular updates and actionable reports to management.
  10. Operational Collaboration
  11. Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless cargo handling and on-time vessel schedules.
  12. Performance Metrics
  13. Achieve or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and customer satisfaction goals.
