SG Education is a leading supplier of educational materials, specialising in Graphics, Mathematics, and Computer Science resources for schools across Ireland. We are passionate about supporting teachers and students with high-quality products and exceptional service.
We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our team in Carraroe, Co. Sligo. This office-based role offers an exciting opportunity to manage school accounts, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales across a diverse product range. Occasional travel may be required to attend trade shows and conferences.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of commercial sales or account management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong IT and numerical skills, with experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfortable using business systems such as Intact iQ or similar ERP platforms.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • A friendly, professional manner and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience in the education or supplies sector is a bonus.
  • Relevant third-level qualification (not essential).
Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of school accounts nationwide, ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction.
  • Handling inbound queries and proactively following up on leads via email and phone.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with teachers, principals, and school staff.
  • Understanding customer needs and providing tailored product recommendations across our education ranges.
  • Developing product knowledge to support consultative selling across art, graphics, maths, science, and technology categories.
  • Accurately maintaining customer and sales activity records using our ERP system (Intact IQ) and CRM tools (e.g. Brevo).
  • Analysing account performance and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Preparing and generating sales reports as needed.
  • Working closely with colleagues in Accounts, Marketing, Buying, and Warehousing to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Representing SG Education professionally in all interactions.
