Job Description Assist & liaise between customers and SGS technical teams to provide follow-up and feedback for technical questions and specification needs. Visit existing customers periodically for contract reviews. To support & maintain existing contracts database. Ensure customers are responded to adequately by customer care group. Produce customer quotations as required. Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements. Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management Qualifications Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer care, sales or business development in a technical services or industrial capacity. STPM or Diploma or Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or equivalent would be an asset. Proven track record of successful customer relationship & key account management. Comfort in dealing with various levels of senior executives and management. Knowledge in using MS Office is a prerequisite and exposure to CRM software is an advantage. Applicants must be willing to travel nationwide occasionally. Additional Information Good communication and effective interpersonal skills; able to develop good working relationships with people at all levels. Must be fluent in local language & English (oral & written), with good report writing skills Independent. Fast learner and able to work independently. Excellent work ethics, good team player and self-motivated.
Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between customers and technical teams to provide feedback on specifications and technical questions. Maintain the existing contracts database and produce customer quotations while ensuring adherence to HSE policies.
