For more information about the property, please visit: https://www.langhamhotels.com/en/the-langham/sydney/ About the Role Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Executive supports the hotel’s sales and revenue goals through new business development, account management, and enquiry conversion across individual and group business. The role involves building strong client relationships, supporting sales initiatives, and representing The Langham, Sydney through client meetings, site inspections, and industry activities. Key Responsibilities Achieve budgeted targets across the hotel’s individual and group business Drive new business development and actively target prospect accounts Manage a portfolio of key accounts, including sales calls, site inspections, and client entertainment Act as a key point of contact for group and event enquiries, liaising with clients and partners to support conversion Work closely with Revenue Management and internal stakeholders to maximise revenue opportunities Actively quote and assist in converting enquiries in line with pricing and revenue strategies Support sales strategies and contribute to account plans and monthly action plans Participate in sales activities including sales missions, sales blitzes, trade shows, and networking events Assist in organising client familiarisation visits and hosted site inspections Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and third-party stakeholders Maintain accurate records, reporting, and sales activity updates Skills & Experience A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a luxury hotel or sales environment or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience A team player who focuses on organizational success and always has an entrepreneurial approach to business development A good communicator working with best practices and innovative ideas Excellent presentation and negotiation skills to win business and to sustain continuous growth Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to communicate effectively Able to work independently as well as in a team environment Awareness and sensitivity to the concept of luxury and quality Sound knowledge of MS office, Opera PMS and Delphi.
