Description

QUALIFICATIONS AND PRE-REQUISITES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 6+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in CPG or a customer-facing finance role.
  • Strong track record of financial modeling and advanced Excel use; experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, SAP, etc.) an asset.
  • Skilled in analyzing large data sets and presenting actionable insights to leadership.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on developing and supporting team members.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary finance partner to sales leaders, providing insights and recommendations that support growth and profitability.
  • Track sales performance against plan and forecast, identify risks/opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Manage and govern trade spend programs, ensuring funding principles and ROI targets are achieved.
  • Oversee customer deductions and post-audits, resolving invalid claims and supporting the customer team with disputes.
  • Build and deliver financial models, forecasts, and reporting packages to support decision-making at multiple levels.
  • Partner across business portfolios, supporting aggregate P&L management and aligning on financial priorities.
  • Deliver pre- and post-event analysis on promotions, surfacing insights to optimize pricing and customer programs.
  • Coach, mentor, and support finance team members, including offshore analysts.
  • Support adoption of new reporting systems and tools, keeping financial processes aligned with KPI requirements.
