JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our local Home Hardware team! As a Sales Associate, you’ll help customers on the sales floor, restock and display products, and use our inventory system. Occasionally, you’ll assist with door and window installations (we train you), and basic reading of product drawings is a bonus.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Positive attitude and team spirit
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Retail or customer service experience is an asset
• Able to commute reliably or local to Virden

• Greet and assist customers with purchases
• Advise on product use, care, and features
• Restock shelves and build merchandise displays
• Prepare items for purchase and handle transactions
• Maintain sales records and use inventory systems
• Support online and in-store sales processes
• Follow store policies for safety, loss prevention, and cash handling
• Change product prices, labels, and signage as needed
• Assist with special events and sales promotions
• Occasionally help with door/window installations (training provided)
• Read or learn to read simple product drawings (asset, not required)
• Other tasks as assigned by manager
