POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role is to drive Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) in country, to simplify and drive alignment in approach and execution for all SFE related tasks, partnering with the GM, marketing and sales functions in market and supporting GEM SFE Director across all Convatec Business Units, focusing on these 4 key SFE areas:

  • Ensuring the right customer coverage plan
  • Increasing the impact of each customer interaction
  • Creating a performance-focused sales team
  • Enabling efficient & effective sales operations

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years SFE experience, in MedTech or pharma
  • Demonstrates a proactive, hands-on leadership style with a strong can-do attitude and growth mindset.
  • Skilled at balancing global SFE strategy with local commercial business needs.
  • Effective influencer who can constructively challenge and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Experienced in driving change within sales organizations, with deep knowledge of sales processes and best practices.
  • Proven ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuade stakeholders to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Experienced in recruiting, coaching, and developing talent.
  • Background in working with international project teams and cross-border initiatives.
  • Proficient in IT tools (Excel, databases, Power BI, CRM systems like MS Dynamics) and well-versed in financial principles, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership:
  • Influence, lead & drive across all SFE pillars for their Market
  • Drives and provides coaching for sales leaders on how to generate insight from CRM usage.
  • SFE Pillars, Process and Reporting Alignment:
  • Develop and implement processes and governance to drive salesforce & sales operations excellence in country, ensuring these are discussed with GEM SFE Lead for full SFE Global alignment prior to deploying.
  • Support the alignment of reporting across GEM focusing on trade & in market sales performance
  • Customer analysis, pipeline insight, win/loss reviews
  • Develop sales capabilities.
  • Provide insights on the Activities that drive performance.
  • Responsible for proactive follow up and completion of all Sales Incentive Plan activities to include Quota setting, Scheme Design, Reporting and Insights and proactive alignment & feedback to the GEM SFE
  • Driving usage of Tools to increase Insights:
  • Maintain expert level of Knowledge of system functionality.
  • Ensure Account Planning and Opportunity planning is in place and drive business continuity in line with agreed priorities.
  • Ensure that the data in the CRM is correct and allows for business continuity.
  • Ad hoc support as required
