Description

Fort Sands Construction is filling a key role in the Saskatchewan market and is seeking a dynamic Sales driven General Manager to lead the launch and growth of our new office. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on sales and operational oversight. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, results-driven, and experienced in construction project delivery and client relationship management. This is a green field opportunity as we expand into Saskatchewan from our proven success and track record in Alberta.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of experience in construction management, sales, or general operations, preferably in Saskatchewan.
· Loves finding and closing new sales opportunities.
· Proven track record of business development and team leadership.
· Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, including siding, roofing, windows, and parkade work.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

· Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the SK region, including multi-family residential and commercial construction projects.
· Sales Leadership: Build and manage a local sales pipeline, develop proposals, and close deals. Collaborate with the Calgary-based sales team to align strategies and share resources.
· Operational Oversight: Oversee project execution from sales handoff through completion. Ensure adherence to Fort Sands’ quality, safety, and client service standards.
· Team Building: As you grow the region, recruit, train, and manage a local team including project managers, coordinators, and administrative staff.
· Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, including property managers, condominium boards, and commercial developers. Provide regular updates and resolve issues proactively.
· Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
