Description
Act as the subject matter expert and architect of the Automotive commercial strategy, responsible for acquiring strategic customers and delivering tailored solutions. Develop and evolve go-to market strategies to drive differentiated offering and growth over market; Develop and expedite strategies to increase revenue and market shares with the respective customers. Assume Management and leadership responsibilities for planning, developing and implementing above mentioned sales strategies for all fastening product lines with customers in China Systems, Chinese OEM, International OEM and EV Battery customers. Drive continuous growth in revenue per vehicle in system, fastener and battery mechanical parts business in China and across all OEM customers. Establish annual revenue goals and conduct business analysis and assessment. Consistently achieve and exceed Automotive-segment targets by accelerating revenue and volume, maximizing profitability, expanding the new business pipeline, and implementing growth via customer-backed innovation. Possess working knowledge of regional automotive & electric vehicle industry and market trends to develop budgeting and sales strategies. Monitor trends (e.g. EV transition, lightweighting, sustainability), competitor activities, and customer priorities to continuously align, define and execute local and global OEM portfolio strategy. Possess working knowledge of national industry local OEM policy and market trend and competition status for company products, competitors’ strategy and pricing. Develop and drive mid-to-long-term annual sales budget goals. Responsible for all necessary communication and coordination between the commercial department and other functions; Act as the main window between the customers and the organization. Accomplish work designated by line manager, leadership team and other key stakeholders in the local and global teams. Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with senior leadership team both regionally and globally. Be proactive in developing effective solutions to business challenges. Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with customers, positioning SBD as a long-term strategic partner. Manage the voice of the customers and translate customer insights into actionable feedback for the Automotive Vertical and position products for financial success while respecting global guidelines and brand strategy. Monitor and analyze Net Promoter Scores (NPS) for automotive customers, implementing initiatives to enhance satisfaction, responsiveness and service quality. Manage stakeholders across the area, region and global Corporate or Business functions to ensure consistent delivery for global and local automotive customers. Generate high quality leads and accelerate growth in key accounts and strategic opportunities. Consolidate and analyze sales forecasts from multiple sources. Challenge assumptions and ensure data-driven demand plans. Adhere to company policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements. Lead cross-functional collaboration and influence without direct authority. Lead, train and coach regional team members to enhance employee engagement and develop a high performing team.
