About the Role We are looking for a visionary and execution-driven Head of Education (Academia & Research) to lead Neysa’s growth across India’s academic, research, and edtech ecosystem. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for: Building and scaling Neysa.ai’s presence across universities, colleges, and research institutions Driving adoption of Gen AI infrastructure, cloud platforms, and AI-led learning ecosystems Leading a team of relationship managers and edtech specialists Owning revenue, partnerships, and long-term ecosystem development The role blends business leadership, ecosystem building, and domain expertise in education + technology. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Market Expansion Define and execute Neysa.ai’s academia & research go-to-market strategy Build a national-level roadmap for partnerships with universities, IITs, research labs, and edtech platforms Identify high-impact opportunities across AI education, research infra, skilling, and innovation labs Lead the multiple GTM’s across Education and Research Revenue Ownership & Growth Own P&L, revenue targets, and pipeline for the education vertical Drive large-ticket deals including: AI labs / Centers of Excellence Cloud infrastructure partnerships Research collaborations Build scalable revenue models (subscriptions, grants, partnerships) Team Leadership & Capability Building Hire, mentor, and lead a team of: Relationship Managers – Academia & Research EdTech Specialists / Solution Consultants Set KRAs, performance metrics, and sales processes Drive a high-performance, consultative sales culture Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Management Build relationships with: University leadership (Vice Chancellors, Deans) Research heads and faculty Government and policy bodies Represent Neysa.ai in academic forums, conferences, and policy discussions Product & Solution Alignment Work closely with product, engineering, and AI teams to: Shape offerings for academia (labs, curriculum integration, research infra) Co-create solutions aligned to institutional needs Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap Ecosystem Development Build Neysa.ai’s positioning as a thought leader in AI for education Drive initiatives like: AI skilling programs Research grants / innovation programs Hackathons and university collaborations Operational Excellence & Reporting Track key metrics: pipeline, closures, adoption, retention Build structured reporting for leadership Ensure predictable revenue forecasting and execution discipline Qualifications & Skills 15–20 years of experience in: Enterprise sales / business development Education / edtech / SaaS / cloud / AI industries Proven experience in building and scaling business verticals Vast experience working in education ecosystem Strong network within academia and research ecosystem Demonstrated success in closing large, strategic deals Experience managing and mentoring teams Strong understanding of: AI / Cloud / SaaS business models Academic buying cycles and procurement processes Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Strategic thinker with strong execution capability Preferred Experience Experience working with: Universities, IITs, research institutions Government / public sector education projects Exposure to AI, HPC, cloud infrastructure, or deep-tech ecosystems Prior experience in setting up: Centers of Excellence Academic partnerships or innovation programs Why Join Us?
