Job Description Prospect and acquire new SME clients within the assigned territory using cold calling, digital prospecting, referrals, networking events, intermediaries, and social selling. Sell solutions by identifying client needs and positioning Coface offerings to address pain points related to trade, cash flow, and risk management. Develop clear and compelling proposals/quotations with input from internal stakeholders including commercial underwriters, risk underwriters, and management. Maintain an active pipeline and deliver accurate sales forecasts to support business planning. Ensure all prospects are fully developed through disciplined follow-up to achieve annual new-business targets. Work closely with Marketing and the Head of Sales to execute marketing action plans for direct and partner channels. Lead commercial negotiations with prospects and intermediaries through to contract signature. Monitor new and lost clients to identify market trends, competitor movements, and opportunities for growth. Build strong relationships with intermediaries/partners to generate consistent new‑business referrals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, underwriting, customer service) to maximize sales opportunities and ensure smooth onboarding. Qualifications University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Banking, or a related field. 5–7 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in direct sales or partner/channel sales. Prior experience in trade credit insurance, financial services or commercial solutions will be a plus Strong understanding of trade. Proven solution-selling capabilities, strong hunter mindset, and a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment. Experience executing go‑to‑market strategies and managing a disciplined sales process. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Proficiency in English; Chinese language ability is an advantage.
