Role Overview We’re hiring a Sales Intelligence & AI Specialist to supercharge Grain’s Sales and Business Development teams with AI. This is a new role, sitting at the intersection of revenue, research, and AI tooling. Your job is to make our salespeople measurably faster and sharper. You’ll find the right leads before they do, deliver pre-meeting briefs that make every conversation count, and build (and continuously improve) the AI tools the commercial team relies on every day. This is a hands-on, high-pace role for someone who is hungry, AI-native, and not afraid to research, ask questions, and ship. You need to be the kind of person who learns a new tool over the weekend and uses it on Monday. Responsibilities Lead generation & outbound Source and qualify high-fit prospects across Grain’s target segments - software platforms, marketplaces, neobanks, payments, and travel verticals. Build and run AI-powered outbound: enriched audience lists, personalized LinkedIn and email sequences, and follow-up workflows that convert. Hand off warm, well-qualified leads to Sales and BD owners for first calls. Sales enablement & meeting prep Prepare sharp, AI-generated pre-meeting briefs ahead of conferences, demos, and discovery calls - covering the company, the contact, recent news, and the angle. Build target-account agendas for industry conferences (Money20/20, Web Summit, ITB, etc.) so reps walk in knowing exactly who to meet and why. Maintain a clean, structured knowledge base of accounts, contacts, and intel inside HubSpot and Grain’s connected stack. Research & campaigns Run focused research sprints on verticals, competitors, regulatory shifts, and ICPs to inform GTM and outbound campaigns. Define and source target audiences for marketing and BD campaigns, working closely with sales, partnerships, and marketing. AI tooling & automation Build, maintain, and continuously improve in-house AI tools used by the sales team - prompt libraries, research agents, enrichment workflows, briefing automations, and beyond. Integrate across our stack: HubSpot, Clay, Granola, Gmail, Google Calendar, LinkedIn, and Claude / OpenAI APIs. Measure what actually drives outcomes (meetings booked, pipeline created, time saved) and iterate fast. Quickly prototype and iterate on AI-powered workflows and automations that help the sales and business development teams move faster, improve outbound efforts, and create measurable business impact. keep multiple workstreams moving. Qualifications CS / Engineering / Programming graduates - or highly autodidactic builders with strong technical curiosity. People who actively use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and AI workflows in their daily life or work. Entrepreneurial, hands-on people who learn quickly and love building practical solutions. Experience in startups, growth, sales, research, GTM, SaaS, or fintech - Advantage Familiarity with outbound, lead generation, sales pipelines, or customer-facing work - Advantage Experience with automation or no-code tools like Zapier, Make, n8n, Clay, Apollo, or similar platforms - Major Advantage Excellent English communication skills - Required Previous high-tech experience - Advantage Why Grain Direct impact on revenue.
