Now let’s talk about the role: SUMMARY: Responsible for the execution of sales strategy for local topline sales agencies, directly contracted agents, and broker down-line sales within the market for the book of business they manage through training, relationship management, member retention and sales growth. Job Requirements * Bachelor’s degree and 4 years health insurance sales experience OR Master’s Degree with 2 years health insurance sales experience OR 8 years health insurance sales experience * Experience managing broker and/or field sales staff * Experience in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals * Knowledge of the health insurance industry, the producer community and consumer markets products * Must possess the ability to executive on strategy * Strong marketing, consultative and training skills * Verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills, building relationships, developing and facilitating presentations and interviewing * Must be comfortable presenting to large groups * Knowledge and skills of PC applications and databases * Must have strong MS Office skills to include Word, Outlook and Excel * Possess an active department of insurance license from the state of residence or reciprocity with federal regulations Preferred Job Requirements * Experience with Medicare products (Including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and Medicare Supplement products) * Adherence to CMS Medicare marketing guidelines and procedures, customer features, benefits and Medicare & Medicaid knowledge preferred Work Location – Nashville, TN (must be located in/or near area) Travel - Locally 75% Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance - mileage reimbursement provided Bilingual preferred, but is not required Valid local state Agent Health and Life Insurance license is required #LI-Flex #LI-CH2 INJLF
Compensation: $75,900.00 - $113,700.00
