POSITION SUMMARY
This is a newly created senior leadership position combing two sales teams to benefit from synergies across a wider geographical area and to be more closely aligned with the APAC Sales and Account Management organizational structure. The role will be responsible for managing a team of sales specialists to achieve and beat the regional sales target. The targets span several channels from Key Strategic Accounts to the long tail of LSEG Customer Connect so the leader will need to manage various stakeholders and represent each business channel with a target-hitting plan.
The product suite includes Real Time data, infrastructure and pricing and reference services aimed at the middle and back office. The leader will need to be conversant in market data trends and able to articulate and inspire the team as to our roadmap relative to the Cloud. Other selling propositions include Machine Readable News and how this relates to AI and LLMs.
The major focus of this role is proactively winning new revenue - to both existing and new client accounts. The candidate is expected to be hands-on - personally getting involved in deals, meeting clients, network across the region and actively participate in marketing events.
The individual will be additionally responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the business - creating and performing sales strategies, providing forecasts and business updates to internal stakeholders, as well as collaborating with other client facing, product and marketing leaders.
