Reporting directly to the President of Jonas Construction, the Sales Leader will be an integral member of the Senior Management Team. The Director of Sales responsibilities include developing and executing a strategic sales plan, setting and achieving sales targets while building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
Candidate must be self-motivated, dedicated, focused, and dynamic individual with solid leadership, sales, and technical skills with knowledge of the development processes. This position requires a confident, innovative and business minded leader with excellent communication, leadership and strategic planning skills and political savvy who can formulate and execute plans accordingly. The Sales Leader will drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and building strong relationships with clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing training to support their professional development. Meet regularly with Back to Base and New Name sales teams to review strategic goals and initiatives. Lead the recruiting, hiring and provide appropriate onboarding to new team members.
Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and objectives. Also maintain relationships with industry influencers, and strategic partners.
Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
Budgeting: Develop budgets for the sales department.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving any escalated customer issues.
Negotiate contracts with clients and ensure Sales team works closely with Professional Services team to onboard new clients and provide training to existing customers as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven work experience as a Director of Sales, or similar senior Sales role
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching new products into a large market
  • A flexible and adaptable senior management leader in highly fluid environment (comfortably handles rapid and repeated changes in priority and focus with composure)
  • 5+ years of Sales/Product Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, computer science, business or a related area of study or equivalent is required
  • 5+ years managing a P&L
  • Prior construction management software, along with a business-to-business experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of accounting and business principles and strategies
  • Experience participating in senior-level management teams both from a strategic and tactical perspective
  • Strong interpersonal interaction and teamwork with a customer focus

Must be self-motivated, have organizational agility and the ability to plan own work schedule, and set and monitor personal performance goals
Requires excellent negotiation and listening skills
Have a positive attitude and work ethic
Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and presentation skills
