OUR OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Ledger Accountant with strong organisation and communication skills to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller (FC) this is an entry level position within the Finance team responsible for the effective management of the group sales ledgers and incoming cash.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in accounting. You will gain valuable technical experience in the key area of Accounts Receivable and its related systems and processes. Upon passing probation you will be encouraged to undertake a finance qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) with both financial and study support provided by BAFTA. A high number of previous incumbents from this role have progressed to other Finance roles at BAFTA.
Whilst your application may benefit from previous experience in a financial role or current progress towards an accounting qualification, these are not strictly required for your application to be considered.

    Who you are?

  • You’ll have good attention to detail, demonstratable data entry and manipulation skills.

  • Have strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively accross the organisation
  • Be well developed in organisation and prioritisation skills, with ability to deliver on concurrent deadlines
  • Have proficiency with MS Excel and Outlook
