Are you an organised, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment?
I am lookout for a Sales Ledger Clerk to support a finance team and play a key role in keeping the accounts running smoothly.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for raising and processing invoices, analysing payments received, and keeping the debtor records on point. You will also get involved in reconciliations and a variety of other accountancy tasks that keep things ticking behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

· Take control of the sales ledger – manage accounts receivable entries, authorise credit notes, and handle coding and filing with precision.
· Conduct regular audits to ensure ledger accuracy and compliance.
· Accurately allocate incoming payments and maintain up-to-date account records.
· Support account reconciliations, making sure everything adds up.
· Collaborate with the Operations team – including Homes, Managing Director, and Operations Director – to stay aligned and informed.
· Carry out bank reconciliations as needed.
· Liaise with local authorities to ensure all contractual income is correctly billed and received.
· Partner with the Contracts Manager to assist in recovering outstanding debts.
· Tackle ad-hoc duties to support the wider finance function.
