Description

Hill Care is an established local business that operates residential care homes across the Midlands and North of the country.
We are looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join our accounts department, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (Work From Home one day per week) and reporting to the Finance Manager.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with working in a busy business environment, able to manage their own workload and work effectively to deadlines.
You will need to be a strong team player with great communication skills, a pro-active attitude and calm manner.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Confident IT user
  • Experience of Sage 50 Accounts would be beneficial
Responsibilities
  • Raising invoices for care fees using Sage 50
  • Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are received in a timely manner
  • Investigation & resolution of account discrepancies and credit balances
  • Debt recovery and the production of monthly debt reports
  • Sales Reconciliations
  • Maintaining relationships with internal and external contacts, such as Local Authorities and residents’ family members
  • Assisting with Direct Debit collections and account allocations
