Join a passionate sales team that supplies premium seafood, across New Zealand.
The Sales & Logistics Administrator-Shellfish role is an integral part of the Domestic Sales team, and reports to the Export & Domestic Sales Manager with day-to-day direction and allocation of tasks from the Factory Manager, Wiri.
Working closely with the sales and factory teams, this is fast paced role, where you will be responsible for the daily coordination of shellfish (oysters & paua) sales orders destined for domestic customers. The primary focus is to accurately forecast, plan and deliver on supply and demand whilst delivering a high level of service to our customer base, with overall responsibility for daily sales administration and coordination of deliveries to our domestic market business. This role is based at our Wiri site and will travel to Mt Wellington on an ad hoc basis. It will support multiple regional sites across the shellfish division to ensure domestic sales orders are delivered in full, and on time every day, including providing best-in-class customer service.

YOU’LL BE SELF-MANAGING, ENJOY WORKING IN A TEAM AND HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 years sales administration experience, within a Fresh Foods or FMCG business
  • Track record of delivering superior customer service, and building relationships cross functionally – sales, operations, production, transport, and logistics.
  • Systems savvy, process orientated and a multitasker.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of end-to-end supply chain, food safety, health & safety, and best in class compliance practices
  • Highly competent using MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook, ideally Office 365
  • Seafood product and handling knowledge and experience advantageous

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all domestic sales orders are delivered in full and on time.
  • Manage week to week Chilled, Live and Frozen product lines for Tio and Paua, for the Domestic Market.
  • To communicate to customers in a timely manner, daily product offerings or shortfalls and adverse weather-related events that may have an impact on supply.
  • Daily set up, coordination, and processing of sales orders for shellfish in multiple systems
  • Effective and timely communication with sites to ensure orders are accurate, complete, and valid.
  • Managing daily production requirements, liaising cross functionally – delivery drivers, factory, and supply chain through to third parties’ suppliers and customers
  • Performance and reporting
  • Inventory and logistics coordination
  • Ensure robust documentation management and weekly reporting is completed.
