Job Description As Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in both business development and account management, driving revenue across multiple market segments. You'll connect with clients, create standout proposals, attend industry events, and bring fresh ideas to help us stay ahead in a competitive market. This role is ideal for a strategic sales professional who’s ready to step up and make a real difference - not only in results, but in team culture and client relationships. Your key responsibilities: Grow business across the Meetings & Events, Corporate, and External Group segments Manage key accounts and collaborate on national partnerships with our broader sales team Attend tradeshows, market visits (Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne), and industry events to build leads and boost visibility Craft tailored proposals and negotiate contracts to win new business and grow existing partnerships Conduct presentations to consortia, TMCs, call centres, and other industry partners Lead site inspections and host famils that truly showcase the property Monitor and report on competitor activity, market trends, and business performance Work closely with Revenue and Reservations teams to align strategy and maximise yield Prepare monthly reports on sales activity, performance, and pipeline updates Contribute to rate setting, contracts, and leisure strategies during seasonal planning Support and inspire the Sales team, fostering a high-performance and guest-focused culture Collaborate with operational departments to ensure seamless event and group execution Qualifications We’re seeking candidates who are passionate about growth and development, and who are ready to make a meaningful contribution to our team.
