Description Job Description: Coordinates and initiates all sales related functions of the community, Implements sales and marketing plans that will meet and exceed the overall business plan census goals and financial objectives. Conducts pricing reviews, updates incentive tool belts, reviews quality controls for the overall sales process, trains and monitors the sales support staff including concierge and Director of First Impressions with regard to managing incoming inquiry calls. Know all features, advantages, and benefits of the Avanti Senior Living community, and effectively tour and present our community to future residents and their families. Understand, believe in and be able to articulate the Avanti Senior Living services, programs, and pricing policies to our customers. Understand and demonstrate the Avanti sales processes and procedures Understand and use Avanti lead management system. Demonstrate strong team orientation within the Avanti Senior Living community and corporate support team members. Plan, organize and run creative, innovative marketing events and seminars to promote Avanti Senior Living. Research and understand your local community’s business and medical environment. Maintain relationships of trust with key area physicians, medical communities, and entities which have a significant senior clientele. Know and understand the competitive environment through in-person visits to competitors in your local market with respect to services, programs, and price offerings. Carry out community relations functions within budget and be able to make critical decisions wisely. Be total open and excited to continually updating skills and knowledge regarding selling techniques and approaches. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Desired Skills and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of prior leasing or sales experience. Proficient in written and verbal English. Demonstrated abilities in organization, communication, public speaking, enthusiasm and effective interpersonal skills. Experience networking with other professionals preferred. Understands and comply with national and state regulations including ADA/Fair Housing Regulations. Excellent telephone skills. Demonstration of ability to establish long-term relationships. Self-motivator and initiator. Results driven and likes success. Interest in working with the older adult population. Strong computer experience including thorough knowledge of Word and Excel and ability to use or learn to use database software. Ability to travel locally to fulfill job responsibilities. Ability to periodically travel overnight. Ability to work flexible schedules in 24 hour operation including weekends. Preferences: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. More than 3 years of prior leasing or sales experience. Experience working with the older adult population.
