JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the commercial growth of our Early Years SaaS platform. As part of the senior leadership team, you will define and execute a scalable sales strategy focused on growing market share across nurseries, preschools, MATs with EYFS provision, and local authority partners. This is a true ‘player-coach’ role, where you will not only lead the sales team but also manage your own pipeline and sales targets, leading by example.
This role requires knowledge of the early childhood education landscape, experience in SaaS or edtech sales, and a passion for empowering educators through digital transformation.
You’ll be expected to develop a deep understanding of the platform and speak confidently about its features and benefits, demonstrating how it meets the needs of early years providers.
REQUIREMENTS
· 8+ years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of the early years education landscape, including EYFS frameworks, funding models, and operational challenges in nurseries/preschools.
· Proven success scaling SaaS revenue in the education or childcare sectors.
· Experience managing both B2B and B2G sales cycles, including procurement frameworks and multi-stakeholder deals.
· Highly skilled in HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning abilities.
· Confidence with creating and delivering polished presentations; PowerPoint (or similar) proficiency is required.
· Willingness to travel across the UK for meetings, events, and conferences as required.
