Bohemian Bliss Yoga is a community organization and yoga studio supporting you along your health, wellness, and fitness journey through yoga movement, outdoor living, and a natural lifestyle. Throughout the year we hold weekly classes, programs, series, workshops, events, and retreats to help you grow mentally, physically, and spiritually by finding your inner self awareness and connecting your mind, body, and spirit.

At Bohemian Bliss Yoga, ‘Life is what you make it…!’ We thrive on positivity and if it is not there, we are responsible for creating it. As a Tribe member, we accept all beings as individuals and encourage growth upon others from beginners to advanced. We follow a ‘listen to your body’, ‘follow your breath’ and ‘smile as often as possible’ attitude when teaching and also off the mat. We promise to follow the Yoga Yamas and Niyamas (ethics and morals) to the best of our abilities. We are to work on self-love first before attending to the needs of others and keep our energy balanced and in a safe place. Tribe members spend time in nature and enjoy the simple pleasures life has to offer. Most importantly, we grow together as one.
A BBY Power Warrior Defined: You are the light when a regular or new student walks in. You provide good energy through love and movement, and are a role model in health and wellness in nature. You attend to the needs of others and assisting them along their health and wellness journey by prescribing them what is best. You take care of the BBY Teaching Team (Warriors 1-3), the Admin Team (Humble Warriors), BBY community and students (BBY Tribe), and the assistant of the Owner/ Creator (Flying Warrior) all while still taking care of yourself.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Building strong rapport and gaining trust of team members to lead team towards growth and loyalty
  • Understanding how to manage stressful conversations with clients/team members/contractors yoga teachers, and find resolve
  • Strong organizational skills shown in scheduling classes, team members’ schedules, and all things managerial
  • Ensuring the client experience has an emphasis on positive interaction, efficiency and building quick rapport leading to trust
  • Practicing a calm and professional manner under pressure and able to resolve issues that come up with ease while noting what we can improve on to minimize these issues moving forward
  • Multitasking with the BBY Teaching team, community, and owner/creator
  • To be knowledgeable in the practice of Yoga and Represent and live a healthy lifestyle, one a student could look up to as a mentor
  • Sales experience and hitting monthly, quarterly, and annual goals through memberships and filling of events, workshops, and programs
  • Marketing experience in Facebook & Instagram, email campaigns, and in person markets and events
  • Leadership skills, driving a team, and superb communication
  • Excellent customer service and being able to handle client complaints
  • Creative and growth driven

CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid CPR
  • Not required but an asset: 200 hr RYT or more, or certificate in fitness
  • Personal Liability Insurance if you are teaching
Responsibilities
  • Arrive on time to shifts wearing BBY uniform and with positive energy to share
  • Responsible for unlocking and locking of studio, put signage out front of door/ bring it back in
  • Welcoming clients when they come into studio, engage in meaningful conversation and be a client cheerleader
  • Recognize and expect new students ‘Hot Yogis’ and provide beyond expected customer experience and perfect the client journey
  • Perform in person Meet and Greets for Hot Yogis
  • Use of Wix CRM system, Wix Owner App, Google Spreadsheet, Zoom and Excel
  • Understand reports, KPIs and create sales goals for the admin team
  • Driving goals for the admin team to Heart to Heart trained teachers
  • Perform Heart to Hearts (intentional intakes) with Hot Yogis to hold space and hear their goals and obstacles to prescribe them with the best plan for them
  • Upsell BBY retail boutique items
  • Studio cleanliness spot checks
  • Team building by planning outings for staff on a budget
  • Performance reviews: Quarterly check-ins with all team members. Hearing what they think is going well, what can use change, how they can grow, and providing constructive feedback
  • Sharing announcements in front of large classes or events
  • You take initiative and responsibility when you see room for growth
