About this opportunity: The Sales(Business Development) Manager will be responsible for driving strategic growth with major Hyperscaler customers(Google, Meta etc.) by delivering comprehensive Managed Services solutions across data centers, edge sites, and global points of presence (POPs). This role requires combining understanding of compute, scaled-networking including optical and IP networking, AI architectures with strong supply-chain and commercial acumen to support the expanding demands of AI, cloud, and emerging digital workloads. The Sales Manager works closely with Hyperscaler leadership, solution architects, product management, and global operations to identify needs, shape long-term technology roadmaps, and position Ericsson's portfolio—including high-capacity optical transport, scalable IP networking, edge compute infrastructure, and related services. They will also lead sales efforts related to emerging domains such as extended reality (XR), advanced AI networking, and next-generation connectivity solutions. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining executive-level relationships, managing complex sales cycles, developing multi-year account strategies, forecasting demand, and ensuring successful solution delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of hyperscaler procurement models, rapid-deployment infrastructure, and the technical evolution of AI workloads, distributed compute, and future-facing digital environments. What you will do: Actively manage and mobilize internal resources to deliver efficient and effective end to end solutions allowing seamless transition from sales to operations Develop both internal and external relations to actively contribute to making customers and Ericsson successful Create sales opportunities that generate profitable sales Lead all aspects of optimization of the account team's performance and enable seamless transition to operations The skills you bring: Masters/Bachelor's in Engineering, Business or similar Minimum 7 years of experience within the ICT industry, at least 3 years of end to-end sales and/or solution sales experience Domain experience: Managed Services, Supply Chain / Sourcing for IT and Telecom Infrastructure, Cloud, BSS, OSS etc. Consultative selling skills and commercial understanding of Hyperscalers and Network Infrastructure portfolio You will need to have customer, preferably Hyperscaler customers, and market insight as well as negotiation skills Collaboration skills, ability to build new relationships and cultivate existing relationships Leading Core-3 as an ACR experience Innovation and creativity Social ability and interpersonal skills Intellectual ability and critical thinking Accountability and dedication with a passion to win Perseverance and results oriented What happens once you apply? Your Pay The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. The salary range for this position is $129,200 - $169,575 Sales Incentive Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. Your Health Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents. Your Financial Security We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson matches $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
